						<description><![CDATA[Attention all Interact Club Members, the election date for the new board members will be held on Tuesday, May 22 during lunch.  Please submit applications by May 15th.<br><br>May is Huntington’s Awareness Month.  To honor and help support this cause, sign up for the 3-on-3 Hoops for Huntington’s Basketball tournament!  Sign-ups are going on now in the Activities Office and the Tournament is June 4th -8th, see you there!!!!<br><br>Attention Juniors and Seniors, Barnes and Noble will be offering an internship in the near future.  If you would like to be considered for an interview or would like more information, please see Mrs. Miller by next Tuesday, May 15.<br><br>The first place winners in 9, 10 and 11 win $50 and the 12 grade winner<br>$500. 						<description><![CDATA[Congratulations to our varsity competition cheer team! They represented ESHS at USA High School Cheer Nationals Friday evening and out of 13 squads, they brought home 5th place!! Congratulations to all the squad members on this great accomplishment!<br>Anyone interested in trying out for the cheer program, all tryout packets and required documents are due in the cheer box in the office no later than noon on Thursday April 5th. If you need a packet, text your email address to 310-722-6257 and one will be emailed to you. Once again, all packets are due to the office in the cheer box by April 5th.<br><br>Field trip opportunity for juniors and seniors interested in exploring careers in Global Trade.  Join us on Tuesday, April 17, 9-2:30, as we visit the Port of Los Angeles and hear about how to select a career in this field.  Participate also in a one-hour interactive boat tour.  Lunch is provided.  Sign up outside Mrs. Miller’s office today!<br><br>Seniors who took AP Spanish last year, don’t forget to pay for your 4 year sash and pin by this Friday, April 6th,  $16, in room B205.<br><br>The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and The New Life Clubs are hosting a screening of the new version of “Jesus Christ, Superstar” in the PE Classroom beginning on Tuesday at lunch. UTI trains technicians for careers in the automotive, diesel, motorcycle, and marine industries.
