Happy National Croc Day!!

It's still October and breast cancer awareness month. Did you know that every 2 minutes, one case of breast cancer is diagnosed in the United States? Consider donating to an organization whose mission it is to find a cure!

Feeling like FroYo? Head to the Yogurtland on Rosecrans after school today or later tonight! 30% of all proceeds will go to support our Choir program. See you there!

Juniors: Interested in becoming a member of the ESHS Safety Committee? Email Dr. Fox a brief letter of interest by Friday. Her emil is Lfox@esusd.k12.ca.us. Safety meetings are once a month at 2:45pm.

Culinary Students: A representative from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France will be here tomorrow, October 24th. Le Cordon Bleu is the leading global network of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management institutes. Sign up through Naviance to gain this expert information from this exceptional culinary school. Any students interested in pursuing the Culinary Arts should attend.

Are you curious about SoCalROC? Visit SoCalROC at their Fall Open House tomorrow, October 24th from 1:30-6:30PM. You can visit classrooms to see students and instructors in action.

What’s up Eagles? Are you interested in playing Spikeball? The Gundo Spikeball Club meets at lunch on Fridays on the practice field. Don’t miss out!

Calling all crafters. The Library invites you to our second event this Friday, 10/25 at lunch. Stop by to decorate a sugar skull and hear about Day of the Dead traditions.

As a reminder, students should NOT be in the south gym lobby, south gym or the north gym without supervision at snack or lunch.

Students, do you love fashion, digital media, set design, graphic design, interior decorating, jewelry design, business merchandising and marketing, or social media? Then sign up in the CCC for a field trip to FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising). Deadline to turn in permission slips is Thursday, November 7th.

Seniors interested in math and computers who plan to go to El Camino, see Ms. Harada in the CCC for information on a new accelerated program to help students get a Bachelor's degree and a job in 3-4 years. Minimum GPA is 3.0.

Seniors: If you are planning to attend college in the Fall of 2020, you should have already started completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If not, do so today! Applying early offers you the best college financial aid opportunities!
