12/2/19
Happy National Walt Disney Day!

Congratulations to the Eagle Cross Country teams. Both the girls and the boys qualified for the California State Championships this past weekend in Fresno. Both teams ran amazingly well and posted the fastest team times in school history. The teams both finished in the top 10 with the girls finishing 7th and the boys 10th. We were the only program in the South Bay area to have two teams in the top 10!
Your Eagles boys were led by captain Arend Verfaillie, and also included Will Garrell, Marcus Ortiz, Cole Sterba, Ryu Iguchi, Niall Glynn and Lukas Lux. Your eagle girls were led by co-captains Sophia Zago & James Matlosz, and also include Tyler Matlosz, Ami Jacobson, Isabella Mai, Erin Rifkin, and Leah Guziak. Our alternates who ran in CIF Finals and Prelims include: Jonny Felker, Cooper Haas, Daniel Pop, Lucky Schwarz, Makaela Fujimoto, Jayden McColgan, Alyssa Miller, and Angela Schoenbaum.
Congratulations cross country on another stellar performance."

Standard Station is hosting an ALL-DAY fundraiser for the ESHS Band this Wed, Dec 4th. See flyer in the band room.

The giving season is upon us! Please consider donating new, unwrapped toys, gift cards or homemade cards to your 2nd period class. Please see the flyer attached to each box for details. The annual toy drive will run from December 2-13th. No R-rated movies or stuffed animals, please. The class who spreads the most holiday cheer will earn a pizza party and the runner up, a donut party! Have fun!

An Attendance Reminder: If you are being checked out early or have permission from your parents to leave campus early, you MUST get a white OFF CAMPUS PASS from the Attendance Office BEFORE you leave. This is your permission from ESHS to leave. If you leave without getting the ESHS white off campus pass, you will be given a detention.
