Happy National Nutella Day!

In honor and recognition of Black History Month, here is the quote of the day:

Hey Seniors! Senior best polls are now open for yearbook! Make sure to log into (the number 4) to vote for your Senior Bests. Elections close TODAY at 3:30pm. Good luck!

Seniors: TODAY is the last day that the following yearbook photos will be taken at lunch on the front steps: Twins photo, Senior/Freshman Sibling Photos.

Club photos will be taken TODAY, February 5th, 6th, and 7th at lunch on the front steps. See your club president to find out which day your are assigned to take a group photo.

Attention Eagles! Scholar Quiz is a fast-paced academic trivia competition where teams of four students (of any grade level) compete against each other in a single elimination tournament. The tournament will be the week of February 24th to February 28th. If you’re interested in signing up, there are green sign up sheets in the activities office. Sign-ups are due by Friday, February 7th!

Seniors: You still have a chance to submit a senior ad. Yearbook is still accepting late ads until February 13th, late fees apply. Find the link to purchase in the latest “news” section on the high school website.

CSF Enrollment forms and money are due on Monday, February 3 during snack, lunch, and after school, drop them off with Mrs. Thompson; enrollment closes on Friday, February 14th at 3PM.

Enter info! Random prize drawings for Eagle Eye reporters with verified scores.

Attention Seniors! We have been notified of a significant increase to our PTA scholarship fund for this school year. Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded this year. To be eligible, each senior student MUST be a PTA member to qualify. The amount to join PTA is ONLY $10.00. Pick up a membership envelope from Dr. Fox’s office today.

As a reminder, students should NOT be in the south gym lobby, south gym or the north gym without supervision at snack or lunch. This includes locker rooms. Detentions will be given.

Another reminder: Students, if you are feeling sick during class, please ask your teacher for a pass to the nurse/attendance office. Please do not text your parents to pick you up while you are in class. The nurse or attendance clerk will contact a parent if you need to go home. Thank you!

Final Reminder: You MUST use one of the two crosswalks on Mariposa when crossing the street. If not, you may be assigned a detention and ESPD may cite you for jaywalking. Be Safe and use the crosswalk!

Students interested in biomedical science may apply now for the Lundquist Institute's Summer Fellowship Program. Deadline to apply is March 6, 2020. Students in the program will: Spend 8 weeks gaining laboratory or clinical research experience under the mentorship of The Lundquist Institute's Investigators and get paid!
