Good morning eagles please rise for the pledge of allegiance,
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under god, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Juniors, this Friday is the last day of Priority seating for the PSAT exam. You can still sign up after this week but seating will go quickly once we open it up to sophomores.

Happy spirit week, today is Monday October 4th and these are your morning announcements

“Get ready to unlock your inner Disney Land Eagles! Everyone can compete in a hidden Mickey challenge around the school. An email will be sent out today with a participation form. The first 5 people to complete the challenge will get prizes. Winners will be announced on Friday. Good luck!”

Tomorrow’s spirit day is west coast vs east coast. Freshman and sophomores are west coast and juniors and seniors are east coast.
Wednesday’s spirit day is character day
Thursday’s spirit day is decades day. Staff is 50s, freshman are 60s, sophomores are 70s, juniors are 80s, seniors are 90s
And Friday is blue and gold
Check the schools Instagram and your emails for more information regarding the days

Spirit points will be counted each day during 5th period so make sure you dress up to help your class win.

Float building starts today! Float building goes from 3-9 pm from Monday to Thursday. Get out, support your class, and have some fun float building. Float building is located in the staff parking lot

The annual Homecoming Parade is this Friday, October 8th at 5:00 PM and this year’s Grand Marshal is Ms. Rainy Smith! Ms. Rainy is a true testament of the Eagle Spirit and her dedication towards ESHS does not go unnoticed. Thank you for all that you do and have done for ESHS for over 2 decades! Thank you for being your authentic self! Congratulations!

For today's Hispanic Historical figure, we would like to recognize Ellen Ochoa. Ellen Ochoa is Hispanic engineer, former astronaut, and former Director of Johnson Space Center. In 1993, Ochoa became the first Hispanic woman to go to space when she served on a nine day mission aboard the space shuttle discovery. Be on the lookout for more Hispanic Heritage news!!

Today’s Halftime dance practice times are as follows
Seniors are from 2:30 to 3:00 on the back practice field
The freshman are from 2:40 to 3:30 in the pathway plaza
The group dance is from 3:30 to 5:00 on the softball practice field
