El Segundo High School sophomore Abhaya Alurkar recently raised $1,500 for the National Association for the Welfare of the Physically Challenged in Pune, India! 💙

Earlier this year, Abhaya learned the students at the institute were unable to celebrate Diwali due to limited resources. Through her home baking business and a community fundraiser, she ensured students could celebrate the festival for the first time in years.

We are so proud of her initiative, entrepreneurship, and compassion for others! 👏
